| Previously
years, there was a ferry service from Piraeus or Rafina to Sigri (the
ship continued to Limnos and Kavala) and a weekly route from
Thessaloniki to Sigri (the ship went to Chios, Samos, Kalymnos, Kos and
Rhodes too). Due to the economic crisis, these services temporarily
suspended and we all hope to be reactivated soon. |
| Also,
the anchorage of Sigri moored many boats (yachts, sailboats, etc.).
The position of the port of Sigri in the Aegean is very important, as
virtually is the only port on the line from the Cyclades until the
Straits of the Dardanelles. Sigri passengers of vessels can experience
the beautiful scenery and to buy basic supplies for their journey. |
