Natural treasure!

Birdwatching in Sigri and its surroundings
During Easter holidays of spring 2011, a small group of birdwatchers and photographers from Sweden visited Sigri. The most advanced of them was Mr. P-G. Bentz, famous for his spectacular and beautiful pictures of migrating birds at the south-western Swedish peninsula Falsterbo. Please refer to www.sturnus.se for more details and contact information.
In Sigri and its surroundings Mr. Bentz spotted 135 different bird species during one week of observations! He took more than 6 000 pictures, out of which a small sample is showcased here. The pictures clearly illustrates that Sigri has a great potential to serve as a base for birdwatching tourism.
